Forgiveness

Consequences is the word chosen this week.

There were consequences to her positive actions.

She needed to reach out, talk to the adults they had become, so she could wipe out the past. Fifty years, a long gap in her life, yet she could still remember being followed home, being called names. Now, for the sake of her future, she needed to wipe the slate clean.

It wasn’t her fault, and it was time to live again.
