Controversial Comments

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/sunday-poser/

I haven’t had any controversial comments on my posts, probably because I don’t write any. I do have my opinions, but on-line isn’t the place to put them. I am not political or religious, and if I don’t agree with someone’s opinion, it isn’t my right to give my own.

Word press isn’t somewhere I see much controversy, and most of the beliefs are my own. It is worse on Facebook and Twitter. There are many opinions, and they think because they have one, they have the right to say it.

It is better not to ignore the comments and if you don’t agree with them, it is easy to ignore their words. Life is too short to worry about what you cannot change.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. If you don’t write about politics, climate change or any other controversial topics, then people have no cause to leave controversial comments on your post. It’s a good strategy. Thanks for sharing
