‘Dad would have called him a blatherskite,’ Sheila’s mum said, looking at her daughter straight in the eyes. ‘He’s a charmer, anyone can see that.’
‘Mum, just because he likes to dress nice, doesn’t mean he can’t be trusted.’
‘Love, it isn’t how he dresses, it’s what he says. All this rubbish about owning his own company, taking you on holiday to America. Every time you go out he forgets his wallet, and you have to foot the bill.’
Sounds like mum has him figured out
