As a little girl,
each month was a milestone –
five and two, three, eleven months.
brushing away time,
until my next birthday. Years never
flew quick enough. As I get older,31
something not quite right. Time flies by
and months turn into debatable decades.
Excellent poem Diana 🙂 great job!

Diana, beautiful memoir quadrille. The prompt word is “brush” but I don’t see that word in your poem. Would you like to amend your poem to include it or write another poem for the prompt?

I’ve added brush to my poem.

Thank you for your flexibility ❤ Do you want me to link it in Mr. Linky for you?

So true. The years really do pass quickly as we get older. Lovely poem.
