Plans

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/sunday-poser/

As this year ends, with only a few weeks left in 2023, I have no actual plans. Not yet anyway.

I am waiting for some feedback on my WIP ‘‘Orvieto’’. I received a bursary for an agent to read it. Covered in red marks, I am sure, but I will have invaluable advice to move the writing into a better position to be published.

My decking is going to be replaced next year, and I want my garden to be a place I can relax in.

We haven’t been to Dorset in decades and I am excited to go on my summer holiday in August. That’s as far as I have got. Planning isn’t something I do well. My mum used to say ‘‘one day at a time’’, and I think that is an important rule to live by. None of us know what events venture into our lives.

Living life to the full lol.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. You’ve a good attitude about future planning Diana. One day at a time and playing it by the ear work best. Thanks for sharing. I hope you’re travel plans work out well
