A Tiff

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/sunday-poser/

When I have a tiff, or an argument with my husband, I normally apologise first. I hate any disagreements. Although, if I think I am right, I tell him.

I have been married for thirty-six years. Sometimes I have got it wrong, and others, it is my other half. We both understand giving each other space and talk it through later helps.

Not perfect, either of us.

One thing I learnt from my parents, never go to bed when cross words need to be unsaid. In this world, there are more important things than being stubborn.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
