Repair the Past

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/what-do-you-see/

A new year,

fireworks a plenty,

January is a chance to

make peace, give ourselves

a reset. Whatever your life has

shown, we can repair the past with a

positive outlook, friends, family and love

is a strength stronger than doubt and fear.

as we begin our new year.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Diana, your piece radiates positivity and hope for the new year. The imagery of fireworks, January as a chance for reset, and the emphasis on the strength of love and relationships convey a powerful message. A wonderful reflection on embracing the new beginning. 🎆✨🌟
