Alone,
grief building up layers of protection
against life. It is easier to pull away than
be hurt by opinions of others. Yet, the biggest
lie is the one you tell yourself. The love of family
friends, will protect a fragile mind.
Alone and the
fear wins.
So very true, and beautifully said.

Diana, your poignant and concise prose captures the complex interplay of grief, solitude, and the struggle against fear. The layers of emotions you’ve portrayed resonate deeply. Well done!
