I prefer short because I cannot focus on the writing when someone creates a longer post. Easily losing concentration when it has too much information. Scanning it, rather than reading properly. That being said, there are some that are interesting.
There are some brilliant writers out there.
With AI in the mix, some bloggers will use this to create their piece. I could be wrong, but when it is more factual, you can tell. The human quality gets lost. It is rare, my pieces are more than a page for this reason.
I prefer shorter posts too! I will occasionally read long ones, if I am really interested in the topic!

I was doing full chapters but I learned from reading others’ pieces that shorter is the way to go. If you have longer posts, just stretch them out over a couple of days.

That would work. I think it is because we are reading off a screen.

Yes. And like everyone on here, I get a lot of posts, so it’s easier to keep it brief. I join things back together into chapters once I’ve posted them. I do lose comments and likes doing that, which sucks, but it seems like it’s the best way for me and my readers.

I find AI is good to give you a structure, but will take something thus written and rewrite it.
