Stronger

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/what-do-you-see/

Climbing into the atmosphere,

footprints imprinted

in hearts full of doubt

Sometimes it is easy

to give up

when life gets tough.

Yet striding forwards

creates memories.

With family and friends,

we are stronger.

together.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. This poem speaks volumes about resilience and the power of companionship. It’s like a reminder to keep pushing forward, even when things get rough. Plus, the message about strength in unity is spot on. Love it!
