Forgiving

The mysterious figure in the alleyway dropped a note…. and I retrieved the object, not sure I should look. Curious, I smoothed the post it down. A strange composition, which spoke to me in a way I couldn’t explain.

The message; today take the time to say one positive thing about your day. Mine; I got up this morning, and saw the sun shining through my window.

If we are honest, being kind to ourselves is an essential part of life

Accept that fate isn’t within our control. Instead of concentrating on what we are doing wrong, be confident in our achievements. The incessant cycle will only cease when we take a breath and slow down at a safe pace.

Three positives for my day; I am listening to my work in progress, my writing group tonight, and pizza made by my hubby.

What are yours?

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
