‘Why is this car so cheap? I mean £1500 for a classic vehicle.’
Buying second hand was always difficult.
‘As you can see, the body work is in excellent condition.’
A test drive, and this Jaguar sounded okay, but there must be something wrong with it. She thought about the way the brakes screeched or the gears crunched in two.
There were probably parts that needed to be repaired.
‘I’ll pay you one thousand,’ she said.
‘It’s a steal at the original price.’
‘Yes, but we both know the gears will need replacing, besides there is paper in the driver’s side door.’
‘Alright, it is a deal.’
Mary was glad she worked in a garage, and that she could get it working without too much cost. She could fix it herself, and have a car that would last her a few years.
She loved Morse, and this car was perfect.
Cool story Diana

Good one…………. I thought for one minute the angle would be nothing wrong with the car but the husband had cheated so the wife sold his precious car for a song!

Do you know? I’d buy a run-down Jaguar for the same reason!! Love the Morse series. ❤️
