Rain, rain, oh will you go away,

why did you have to choose my washing day,

come what may, I wish you lock your tenuous tears today.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. That is most frustrating when we want to use our clothesline. I am so sad that I have none. I have ALWAYS had a clothesline until this house. I am trying to figure out where to install it.

      1. Rusted? Wow. I’ve never had one rust before!
I might fold and by one of those tree-thingys – just not practical for sheets (which are the best thing to hang, in my humble opinion)!
