To show our agency is to believe in our ability to shine.

Be our own person, and not to stay in line

with what others want us to be.

If only they could see our dreams

to write, create, and hope

in a better world.

To show respect is to understand we are not always right.

Be the individual who never loses the sight

that other people have a view

of something different.

To read, learn, and make

a decision based on a joint

sharing of minds.
