The most memorable time in 2024 was volunteering for my local theatre. I saw some amazing shows. If I paid for tickets, I wouldn’t have seen a tribute act. The Rat Pack was a brilliant show. Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior, and Frank Sinatra sang all the familiar tracks.

More than that, they put on a fantastic performance.

Transported to the sixties, I could sing all of their tunes, word for word. Not sure how, because when I was born they weren’t

Next year, I am going to keep volunteering. It is a space I am most comfortable in, and getting to speak to the other people is interesting. They are all ages, and from all backgrounds, and love doing our part in keeping theatre’s open.
