Daily Dose

Sleep the respite from the daily dose of stress.

Nobody understands the moment they fall asleep. Wishing for your mind to stop, just for a second, so it’s possible to momentarily forget.

Each branch of dreaming takes you from flying, or reliving a day you wanted to change.

A slight progression, and you are in an unfamiliar place, and not sure if you are able to manage a distinct reality.

At least you have the power to push yourself past fears, and realise life is an amazing part of your own happiness.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
