2025?

Written for https://pensitivity101.wordpress.com/2024/12/30/share-your-world-30th-december-2024/

1.  Would you consider 2024 to have been a good year?

It has been an eventful one. In January my fenced needed reapairing. My daughter’s ghekko and cat passed away. We decided to buy a new car (second hand). Our old car needed work. Although since getting our Chevrolet, my son has leant me the money to get the radiator, wipers, and clutch repaired. A lot to pay back, but I will.

2.  What has been the highlight of 2024 for you?

Being with my daughter, son, granddaughter, husband and brother.

3.  Did you keep any New Year resolutions if you made any in January?

I haven’t made a resolution for a couple of years.

4.  Are you looking forward to 2025?

More, I wonder what could happen. I will book a holiday; my husband likes Cornwall or the Isle of White. I am going to celebrate my 60th birthday and the option to retire early is something I am considering. As I get older, the years seem to be in a rush and I want to find my happy place (a title from a book). In April I am hoping to pass my Math’s GCSE.

I took my decorations down early last year, but this year I reckon I’ll wait the twelve days.

2025 bring it on!

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
