Last night, in my local entertainment centre, I witnessed a brilliant show, called ‘‘Yippee Ki Yay’’. Written by Richard Marsh, he mostly plays the role across the UK and America. Darrel Bailey shares the part. In this one man monologue, his excellent comedic acting, brought Richard’s words to life.
An iconic film; brilliant parody.
A rhyming journey of Die Hard, plus a romantic backstory, thrilled the audience. This talented actor, steered us through a masterful forty-five minute poetic monologue; using only a watering can, teddy bears, Ferrero Rocher’s, a tall chair, and an amazing sound artist.
Hans Gruber, John McCain, Holly Genaro, Sergeant Al Powel, Dwayne T. Robinson, Takagi, and many more characters are portrayed in this one man play.
If you want a fantastic night, it is on tour in the UK.
Our local theatres, as well as the bigger venues in London are less in demand. Cinemas too. With a dwindling audience, most people would rather watch a film at home. I think that is a shame because the exciting experience of a great night out is a shared smile.

Loved Yippee Ki Yay
I agree there is something about the atmosphere when you are at a venue … everything changes from the ordinary to the special.
