Our wedding day in white

beautiful focus pictures bright

the speeches a delight

we dared to dream big.

We brought up our children as a team

and shared our hopes and dreams

sometimes bursting at the seams

we helped them grow

Our marriage happiness and tears,

together we faced our fears

a happy thirty-seven years

happy valentine’s my love.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
