The years ask questions
what happened to the child
holding on to her dad’s hand
buidling sandcastles, creating our land.
The years answer
my inner child remains
still finding joy in many ways
sharing memories on summer days.
So lovely Diana

To still be connected to one’s inner child I think is one of the keys to happiness. Beautifully said.
