A little lamb lost Mary

he wandered far and wide

the lure of an adventure

he jumped from side to side.

BUT

When the sun lost its light,

he faltered with his fear

hungry and thirsty

dripping with his tears.

YET

Mary found her little lamb,

he vowed never to leave

happy and safe

in her nylon sleeve.
