Best buddies for life.

We are an unlikely pair, and most people giggle at the sight of us walking together. Why is it such a shock? We have the same interests. Walks in the park, running in the bushes, and finding that unexpected smelly find.

I met him a while ago. He was munching on some greenery, and I trotted over to say hello. I’ve noticed him in the park a few times.

‘The name’s Max, but all my friends call me trouble,’ I said.

He looked up, and the folds of his chin dripped.

‘Lucky, nice to meet ya. You ain’t seen a yellow ball, have you? My owner threw it, and it just disappeared.’

We searched through the high grass and found his prized possession. There were a few missing lumps, but he adores it just the same. So that’s how we met; Little and large, and mates for life.
