A Blur

I have no sense of direction.

When anyone gives me instructions on what way to go, I remember only the first part of the conversation. My husband expects me to understand every single instruction, but after the first sentence, all I get is turn left, and the rest is a blur.

It is okay when I am familiar with the route.

For the rest I use a SAT NAV. When going to my college course it helped me understand what route to take. After a few journeys, I could do it without. The way back, in the dark, not so much.

It isn’t something I mean to do.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
