My initial reason for blogging was to promote my novel ‘‘It Won’t Happen Again’’. My daughter helped with the book cover and design for ‘‘Writer Ravenclaw’’. Although I never got the sales I hoped for, I found a group of talented authors with a like-minded love of writing.

I started taking part in the word prompts and have 2850 items.

At the start, I took part in all the word prompts. Now, less is more. I understand I don’t have to post every day. It is great to communicate with other bloggers. You are all kind. It differs from Facebook, respectful in the way we relate to one another.

Three years have passed quickly when you’re having fun.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
