Most Days

Written for https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/sunday-poser/

Most days merge, especially when I am working. Even the weekends are very similar, but during each day there is a reason to smile. When my granddaughter makes a joke, or even when she says anything serious, I can’t help but chuckle.

Sharing memories loved ones is a pleasure I look forward to. We have our regular Christmas meetup, and I can spend some quality hours with my brother. We might not see each other for long periods, but we still call each other, and share our week.

Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon tidying the house, but I edited some of my novel, and shared a laugh with my daughter.

I am lucky.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
