I don’t mind reading new authors, but rarely buy new books. The last one I brought was by an author called Nicky Peacock, and The 13th Girl. I enjoyed her story about a serial killer and its female protagonist.
There are many shops that allow you to buy secondhand books.
The last one I brought, ‘‘The Blitz Girls,’’ was from Tesco, where you can give money to charity. I’m so glad I got it, as I used to enjoy reading books from that time period.
Books are expensive.
I love looking through the old books.
I buy most of my books second-hand from charity shops then re-donate them when I’ve finished – unless I absolutely love one, then I’ll keep it forever 🙂

They are so expensive. I love when I come upon those little side of the road libraries where you can pick up a book and leave one behind. It is a beautiful thing.
