Never Give In

The most valuable lesson I learnt, from making a mistake is not to give up. I was talking to my granddaughter and told her the importance of persevering. Life can be hard sometimes, but it is about not giving up.

Talking to her today, I felt nothing but pride. I believe she is going to be whatever she wants to be. Will she make mistakes? Yes. We all do. She wants to be a vet, and for a little girl, she understands what she needs to do to achieve her dream.

I am proud.

She is capable of amazing things – because she will never make the mistake of giving up on life.
