A myriad of moss push through, filtering through the cracks in the concrete, nature searching for a way to survive. Tufts of buds surge through. Tiny at first, they are like threads of cotton weaving through the gaps between the earth, crafting to the blue.
Plumes gather like a forest of green stitches.
Wistful waves flow across the fantasy fabric. A rustle of feathers and wings soar between the ruffle of weeds, not caring about names, just that they are a source of nectar.
No matter the humanity, they search for solutions. Do they speak? Yes, but it is through silent prayer. We deserve a chance at life. If you dig, they will grow and share their oxygen without thinking about the reward.
Perhaps we should heed their positive plea to live.
I can imagine the whole thing. Nicely written! 👍☺️
