What do you see # 135- May 23, 2021

Turning towards the little cottage in the woods, she stretched her legs out. The wind caressed her like a warm hug. Gone was the pain in her hip, and the pressures of life.

Laughing, as her children trailed behind her. This holiday was much needed, and spending time with family more important than any money. Nobody could take her memories from her.

As her granddaughter, no older than she was the first time she pedalled into the woods, smiled back at her, Sarah felt her age rush away into the distance. She was five again, speeding towards the bottom, not scared of anything

She would be okay.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
