My husband says I have too many books, and is often complaining about them in the bathroom. It is the only place I can go to and get some peace when reading. Otherwise it is one of my household asking me questions when I want to immerse myself in a book.
The other time I read is before I go to sleep, but I tend to fall asleep before I can fully get into the book I am reading.
I’ve been on my holidays, and we went past a marketplace. There was a market stall with three books for a pound. Bargain. So I brought three and found an amazing book I would like to share.
How long ago it was written I don’t know, but the title caught my eye. It is called ‘The Strange Death of Fiona Griffith’. It is about an undercover police woman and is first person all the way through.
I haven’t read all of it, but what I have read so far is brilliant. I just wanted to say, that even in this world of Kindle and computers, that you can find a great book anywhere – even in a second hand market stall. I have searched Amazon and it is on sale there too.
So far, five stars for me.

Much as I love my Kindle, you can’t beat having the real thing in your hands. 🙂
