What makes you feel lucky? Is it a four leaf clover, a rabbit’s foot, or a lucky penny?
Family makes me feel lucky because whatever happens I know I can rely on them.
What are you superstitious of? Will you walk under a ladder? What’s your lucky number? What if a black cat crosses your path?
As a child we had many superstitions – don’t walk under a ladder, dropping salt is unlucky, watch out for those black cats. None of them are remotely real, but I still throw salt over my shoulder if I drop some.
Since this is the last week of the year I am curious – do you make resolutions, eat specific foods, or have traditions or superstitions to usher in the new year?
I haven’t made a resolution for a while now, I don’t keep to them, and it is a bit like saying the diet starts on Monday. If you are serious about doing something you need to just do it. I am going back to slimming in the new year, not because of the new year because of all the chocolate I have been eating since December.
Wishing you so much luck (pun intended) going back to slimming in the new year. I used to make huge lists of new year’s resolutions but never quite kept them.

Thanks for joining in Diana. I was weighed yesterday before my bone density test. It was obvious what I need to resolve to do this year. Chocolate is my downfall.

Diana, I feel the same way about spilled salt! I don’t even love chocolate that much but I have consumed way too much of it since Thanksgiving!
