Fool makes me think of Norman Wisdom, he sang a song called ”Don’t laugh at me because I’m a fool. I always watched his movies when I was young, and he made me laugh at all his silliness, but that song always made me cry.
I’ve always loved watching black and white television programmes. I watched Sherlock Holmes, Charlie Chan, Miss Marple with my dad. It is possibly why I’m addicted to detective programmes now. Black and white adds to the mystery.
I’ve always felt like a bit of a fool when I cry at the end of a film, but nobody should. My dad used to cry, although he would say it was a bit of dust in his eye, but we both knew it wasn’t anything to be ashamed of.
He was the bravest man I knew and will always be my hero.
I had never heard of Norman Wisdom but upon your recommendation I watched a bit.
Foolish … but … Fun. 🙂

Thanks for joining in Diana. Di from pensitivity101 chose the same song. Norman Wisdom was not big in the US, but he was loved in the UK.

I watched him live about thirty years ago, and he was in his seventies. He rolled about the stage like he was a young man, and I got his autograph and a picture taken with him.
