Ever since I was old enough to read, I have passion for my writing and I write to show my children we can achieve anything we set out to do. I might be working full time, and writing in my spare time, but I will never give up.
I wrote my first book when I was forty, and the second was self published earlier this year. I am a believer we can be anything we want to be with a lot of hard work. Yes, it is difficult working six hours and then putting hours into my book, but it is worth it.
I’m proud to say I self published, and that my play will be shown in February. It was extra work, but I’m built that way. I can’t stop and sit still – I never could. Today I will be helping out my son with the writing part of his web comic.
Tomorrow I am back at work, so I will be working at full pelt again.
In a month my play will be shown to the public via VR360 headset.
I need to start writing my book again, and make sure my research is good enough to tell the story of a visually impaired, journalist, investigating her husband’s murder.
My real passion though are my children. Being a mother is worth more to me than writing. When they were growing up, I concentrated on them. Now I can spend time writing.
When I first started this website, it was my daughter’s creativity that made my book cover. Something I couldn’t do without it looking like a five year old had painted a picture. I am so proud of both my children, and they will always be my inspiration to do better.
You truly have such an amazingly inspiring mindset! I love your determination!
