To go back to a time when Corona was a bottle of lager shared between friends. Sat in the back of a beer garden, enjoying the sunshine. It was an easier time, without worrying about going out into crowds.
There are so many people out there, who still don’t realise the dangers. Restrictions are easing, and it is like our government have decided it isn’t a threat any more. We can go out without masks in a few months, live life like we used to.
I am scared, a lot of people are.
I would be more confident if the medical experts told us that with the vaccines we are safer. It is difficult to trust politicians when they assume the rules don’t apply to them. I think if we are trusted with the truth, we are more likely to make informed decisions.
I probably will wear my masks in shops, just because I will feel safer – at least until I know more. I will make sure I watch the data very carefully to see what to do next. I do think we will have to eventually live with COVID, but we need to take baby steps to do that.
