So, what has seen you through potential comfort eating phases?
I make sure I haven’t got the sugary treats (chocolate, cake, biscuits, pudding) in my house to eat. That went right off the wall with Christmas chocolate’s in the house. I have been emotionally eating the last month or so. I’m quite a private person, so I won’t say why, but I stopped going to my weight loss group because I knew I couldn’t keep up with my diet.
Did you come off plan when you reached a plateau for a couple of weeks and then start again or did you give up altogether?
I have lost three stone with a famous weight loss group. It took me a while to get the last few pounds off. I think I was trying to hard, and expecting miracles. I know what works for me; a fat free, limited unhealthy snacks, and vegetables. We all know what works, but then it is difficult to keep up.
What do you do if you’re not a fan of fruit and veg?
I have eaten more fruit and vegetables because of my diet. I have learnt to like mushrooms, peppers, but I don’t think I will ever get used to Brussel sprouts.
What are your go-to nibbles?
Biscuits, chocolate biscuits. It goes back to being a young girl, and having hot milk and ginger biscuits. Dunking a biscuit makes it taste better in my point of view.
List five ways you can serve chicken.
Hunters chicken (barbecue sauce, and bacon)
Diet Cola Chicken (Something from my slimming plan, there are ready meals, which Iceland sell. Really weird, but it tastes delicious).
Fried Chicken, chips, beans.
Chicken casserole (chicken, gravy, stock, carrots, mushrooms)
Roast Chicken, with all the trimmings (roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, gravy)
