1.   Who sang about the green green grass of home? Jimmy Cricket, Pinocchio got married and he was their wedding singer.
2.   Where will you find The Wind in the Willows? Toad suffers from gas (if you know what I mean) He often goes to his billiard room and just lets rip.
3.   Who was Nora Batty? Toad’s long term girlfriend. After his trip down the river and his problems with the weasels he wanted to settled down.
4.   Who was the star of Tales of the Riverbank? Nora Batty of course, an unsung hero who put up with Toad’s new hobby. He took up knitting and his scarf is ten metres long.
5.   Who sang ‘I’m gonna make you mine’ ? Toad sang it when he met Nora on a blind date. It was love at first croak.
6.   What is a dowager? It is a special sort of danger, Nora has invented it when Toad kept stabbing himself with needles.
7.   What do the letters LED stand for? Lower End Dropped stitch. It is a knitting term, which Toad has learnt. In bright light it looks like it is glowing.
8.   What are ‘cobbles’ ? They are the shapes created in a pattern when knitting. When Nora had her babies, When Toad improved his knitting skills he was able to do the intricate of patterns. His favourite thing to knit was baby hats and socks.
9.   What is a shoe horn? You use it to make socks You put the wool over it, and knit around the shape.
10. What was once advertised as the fifth emergency service? The fifth emergency service is the boo-boo service. It was invaluable to Nora. When he first started knitting. He would sit and cry in a corner and she could do nothing to console him.
