Questions
Is any one person’s life worth more than another’s? Why or why not? None of us should think we are better than anyone else. It doesn’t matter how young, old, rich, or poor we are. Having said that, for those who harm others, then I don’t think they deserve the same respect.
Can a good person do evil things and remain a good person? Under what circumstances? A good person can do bad things, rather than evil. If their family are at risk, then we will protect those we love. I’m not sure how they would remain whole, rather than good.
Is somebody morally culpable if they take a morally wrong action at the orders of a superior? What if their life is at stake? I think we all have a choice in what we take on, and if we thought it was ethically wrong, then it is time to look for a new job.
People had widely mixed opinions about illegal bananas, so let’s take that a step further this week: What would be the worst thing for a government to make illegal?
Drinking coffee, there would be many teachers out there who wouldn’t be able to work if that was taken away. I survive on coffee, and if it were illegal then I would probably break the law on a daily basis.
My gratitude section

I would also break the law to have coffee.

Thanks Diana for Sharing Your World! What a beautiful gratitude meme! Your answers were very thoughtful, and your points made well! 🙂 Coffee is something that might just cause a riot if it were restricted or banned. Too many folks depend on the boost (truck drivers are another besides teachers that seem to live on the stuff). Have a great week and thanks for participating!
