Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Survival – March 8, 2022 was survival, and this prompted me to think about survival of the fittest. https://fivedotoh.com/2023/03/10/fandangos-flashback-friday-march-10th/ this is the closest.

One animal’s survival over each other, and it seems to me human beings are the only animals who think they need to push through boundaries to do this. We are not satisfied with what we have, and want more. We take over land, cut down rainforests, build factories, and wonder why the world is in such a state.

Survival of the fittest, but putting other creatures at risk. Not just other creatures, but our own kind. Why is it we cannot be satisfied with what we have?
