‘Life is way too complicated at the moment, and all that jazz,’ Stephanie said, trying to fill in her tax return.
She surfed from one form to another and nothing was helping. If she called the tax office, there would be a queue of other people. Had she missed the deadline? There was nothing to do but make that call and hope it would be answered quickly.
A coffee, with three sugars, and she dialled the number; twenty minutes later and finally the call was answered.
‘So, you work a year behind,’ she said, ending the call. ‘I don’t have to do anything until April, well that’s brilliant.’
An unexpected result, and she opened her app for a bank account. She might just have enough money to treat herself to a coffee and maybe a cake.
Good one! ❤

Good tale – tell you what with 3 sugars in her coffee she better skip the cake. She has a cup of diabetes there without it, haha!

All apart from one thing – calling our government takes at least an hour.
