Splish, Splash

Eugi’s weekly prompt is Splashy.

All those puddles,

Splishy, splashy,

Wellington boots will always be muddy,

Full of rain, and full of fun,

When her day is done,

She’ll go on home, with a smile on her face,

Fear an loathing, not a trace.

Rain, rain, don’t go far

with you I’m a shooting star,

Wellington boots,

Splishy, splashy,

There is no time to worry.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
