Deadly, the most venomous snake in the forest.

Only when attacked, and only as a last resort. He was only trying to live, to protect his children. His fangs a dangerous weapon. Even the bright colouring of his skin, luring his victims into the undergrowth.

Slithering through the undergrowth, his home, he finally rested against the grass. His home was beautiful, there was nowhere else he wanted to be. Here, with his family, keeping them safe.

Slithering, silently, silencing the wind above,

Saving those who he always loves.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
