Being a mum is full of wonder,

A lucky life, a love so tender

Caring, watching, seeing your children grow,

Giving them a world to know,

They fly the nest, at first they falter,

Whether they be son or daughter,

Watch them soar, laugh and thrive,

On their journey of being alive.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
