Sharing My World

SHARE YOUR WORLD 7-25-2022 and is asking her share your world questions.

What mythical creature would improve the world most if it existed?  (If you don’t know, just choose something that you think would improve things)

A fairy, because they would sprinkle happy dust wherever they go, bringing joy and happiness to the world. We all need them in our lives, when times get tough, we could have our own magical creature to help.

Should the death penalty be re-instated?  Why or why not? Mistakes happen, and you cannot give a person their life back if they were wrongly convicted. I don’t think the death penalty should be re-instated, but I’m aware of other countries where it is still happening. Don’t get me wrong, there are many murderers who deserve it, but sometimes they are wrongly convicted.

Spontaneity Or Stability? A bit of both, I like stability when it comes to food, shelter, and family, but sometimes to risk on purpose can move your life forward in a good way. If it weren’t for joining a playwright group, I would never had a commissioned play. If it weren’t for thinking, I want to write a novel, I would never have self published.

Can a dog/cat suffer? What about an ant? What about a plant? What about a bacteria cell?  Why do some humans think we’re the only species that does suffer?  Your thoughts? Of course any creature can suffer, but we only care for those animals we deem as pets. Dogs are extremely loyal animals, and don’t deserve the treatment of owners who think it is okay to treat them badly. Dog fights, left outside in all weathers, puppy breeding. It is wrong beyond belief. If you can’t treat a dog like they are family, don’t own one.

I always hated ants in the Summer, and I felt guilty when I had to kill them, but we do not live together in a good way. Mostly I put salt around the kitchen, which is meant to stop them getting in. Plants respire, and need water and sunlight to grow. I do believe they feel some pain, but not in the way we know it. Plants in my care must hate it, because I am not a gardener.

A bacteria cell, I’m not sure – If they do feel pain, they probably aren’t aware of it.

Human beings are the worst kind of creature in this world. Look at what we’ve done to the rainforest because of what we can gain from it. Money and power mostly. We hack down trees, and then wonder why global warming is a thing. We use plastic, as an invention great, but don’t care how we get rid of it. We are intelligent beings, so why do we act like we’ve no brain cells at all.

What are two things that have brightened your day today? Yesterday, I spent the day at the hospital with my husband. He has been getting chest pains. All the tests (ECG, blood, X-Ray) was clear, so nothing major is happening. I’m grateful for my family, we may not speak every day, but I love them with all my heart.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.
