- Do you have family photographs on display in your main living room? Yes, I have pictures of my mum, dad, sister, brother, and loads of my granddaughter. I painted (paint by numbers Japanese style) a picture of my granddaughter, but it didn’t work as well as a picture of my old dog Scamp. There is also a painting of my present dog Titan, but again it didn’t really work as well as the first painting.
2. What was the best vehicle you owned?
This could be a pushbike as a kid, your first car, a motor cycle, or something else. We had a green Laguna Estate, and through the three years we owned her, didn’t go wrong once. It was great to drive, and when we eventually sold her, was sad to see her go.
3. Did you pass your driving test first time? It took me seven tests to pass – I got really nervous during my tests. The first one, I was stubborn. My driving instructor was awful, and shouted at me all the time. He said I wouldn’t even get out of the drive, but I proved him wrong by completing the test. Failing didn’t bother me, just that I wasn’t asked to stop.
4. Does loud music from a neighbour or passing cars annoy you? Not really, I think I am going slightly deaf.
Gratitude:
What has made you smile over the last seven days?
That’s easy, my granddaughter, she is so funny, and copying everything we say. You definitely have to be careful, and not have road rage when she is around. We went to the car boot on Sunday, and she brought a pillow of Donald Duck. Her grandad (grumpy duck to her) is her favourite human, as he gives her Haribo. My daughter found a stall she really liked, and she took the pillow and decided she needed to go to sleep.
Aw, bless her! That is so cute!!
