Been a funny sort of day today, and I haven’t been writing much.
Did a car boot in the early hours of this morning (about 8 in the morning till about two) We took my granddaughter and my daughter’s dog Luna. Both were really well behaved, considering we were there for at least four hours.
Made a bit of money, and thinking of doing the same on Bank holiday Monday.
We dropped a very sleepy child, and dog back home and my daughter went Halloween shopping. She loves that time of year and must have four boxes from places like T K Max and Home sense. I promised to buy her something when I got paid, and she never forgets.
She has started working delivering take away for Uber Eats, so tonight I went with her. Partly because it can be quite lonely delivering on your own, and partly because I want to make sure she is safe. Not that she can’t look after herself. She is more likely to be able to get herself out of danger without me being there.
This is the first time I have been able to go on the computer all day. If I don’t do a word prompt it is because I need to have a bit of a rest. I got my son to make me a (decent) coffee, as the coffee I drank while I was out was far too bitter for my taste.
The one thing I want to say is, when you get take-out, think of those on a minimum wage. They work unusual shift patterns, and sometimes it is nice to show an appreciation. It is a bit like cleaners, without them our workplaces wouldn’t be as nice.
