Live Boldly

This weekhttps://lifeafter50forwomen.com/author/sadje19/ has asked the https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/category/my-question/ What does it mean to live boldly?

For me it is not being afraid of trying something new – whether it is painting a picture (paint by numbers for me, I cannot paint) or building a miniature room (something my children brought me) A bit like a flat pack, from China. My favourite paint by numbers is one of my old dog Scamp. I was proud because it looked so lifelike. The one of my granddaughter’s wasn’t as good, but I cut out the awful bits. I also did one of my current dog Titan, but the paws looked all wrong.

That won’t stop me from doing them again, I’ll just learn from my mistakes.

In the same way, being bold, or being brave about the decisions you make in life. Whether it be a new job, or moving, or change. It can be frightening, but exciting too. I only started blogging last year, and that first step made me nervous, but now I enjoy writing on my blog just as much as I did when I wrote my novel.

So, live boldly and see where the future takes you.

I am a fifty something mother of two grown up children, and one beautiful grandchild. I have been married for nearly thirty-four years. My first book was published ten years ago. I wrote my book Sticks and Stones because of my experience of being bullied at school.

  1. Good for you, continuing to learn and try new things. It’s how we continue to grow and take advantage of all the blessings we are granted throughout our lives. ^_^
