Question Time over Coffee have inspired me for my word prompt.

Have you ever been on an extended vacation/holiday road trip? If so, when and where and for how long? The longest I have gone on holiday is for a week, I never have been on an extended holiday. |
When was the last time you visited an actual bookshop, and what, if any, new/old/secondhand titles did you buy? I buy second-hand books from charity shops. Tesco have a bookshelf, where I put in a charity tin and buy some. I have got some great books I would never have thought to read. |
How do you feel about the new WP Dashboard 7-day highlights Statistics? I don’t really look at statistics. |
How do you feel about all the Russian nuclear sabre rattling? It all depends on what news you watch. Nothing can be taken for granted these days. For example, in Russia, there will be a lot of news that isn’t quite on the level, only told for one person’s point of view. There are also algorisms where the news will be what your views are. |
If you could go back or travel to an age of your choice and live or relive a previous era for a day, what age would you pick and why? I would be a child again, not allow the bullies to make me feel so bad about myself. I was never brave enough to tell a teacher, but this time I would say something. Either to Mum, Dad, or my brother and sister. |
Do you have a favourite coat? [Outdoor/Indoor/Business/Social] What makes it unique to you, OR is a coat just a coat? I have a padded coat, which is warm for any weather. It has deep pockets, and I never feel cold. |
Do you enjoy learning something new every day or week? I work in a school, as a teaching assistant, so I am continually learning something new. I love that part of the job. A couple of years ago I passed my GCSE English on a level seven. I would love to do a math’s GCSE. |
Are you more comfortable in your skin today than you were in the youth of your yesterdays? Why and how so? Yes, partly anyway. I have a lot of self-doubts, but that is because of being bullied for two years straight. It makes you think you have to be everything to have respect. I’m better than I was and understand nobody is perfect. |
Have you ever kept a hardback diary or a journal as opposed to an online digital one? When did you first start to journal your life? As a child I kept a hardback diary. It helped to say something about school, keeping my secrets I was able to cope with what was happening. |
How do you feel about Eggplant/Aubergine/Guinea Squash as a vegetable? Is it something you enjoy having in your meals? Nope, never wanted them. |
What film could you watch over and over again and why? Harry Potter, it was something I bonded with my daughter. I have seen all the films, especially the third one, many times. |
What concert, show, or event would you love tickets for if you could get them? I would love to see Bon Jovi. |
Would your teenage self be impressed with who you are today and what you have achieved so far in your/their life? I think they would be. My greatest achievement is being a mum and grannie. I know I have brought up my children in a way that I am proud of who they are today. My daughter is a great mum and so creative. My son, on the spectrum, has coped with so much in his life, but is the kindest person I know. Both have huge hearts and I love them so much. I’ve written and self-published two books and a play. I write on my own blog. If that isn’t cool, I don’t know what is. |
Which online behaviours do you find the most annoying in blogging? Most of the online behaviours I find annoying are not on blogging, but social media in general. |

You have done SO well! I hear you on the goals of being a good Mom and Grandmother!
How I wish I could have been your friend as a child and defended you from those bullies. They would have been sorry!

Hey Diana, nicely answered. I agree with Sadje, kudos to you on all of your achievements. It’s a marvelous feeling , l know, l too have achieved a lot with my life and feel proud of that, more so when my father who was a terrible bully would always belittle any of my achievements.
I too am a huge fan of the feel good films of Harry Potter – books and films alike, all good π
Many thanks for taking part π
