I feel so lucky today, at all my fabulous gifts from my hubby (eternity ring) daughter and son (tree picture of my sister and brother, Ravenclaw handbag) and a Ravenclaw book, and pen from my granddaughter. I am so lucky to have such amazing family.
Fifty-seven, scarily close to sixty, but I am lucky. I can enjoy my birthday with my family. I’m going to see my brother, nieces and nephews tomorrow. We lost my sister to Cancer, but I know she will be with us all. As my picture says ”our roots are strong”.
We don’t get together often, but when we do, it’s like we’ve not been apart. It is our Christmas get together, with sausage rolls, mulled wine, minced pies, cake, and all the trimmings.
I probably won’t post much over the next few days.
I am so lucky, I have a family, who I love, and they love me. We are close, even when we are miles apart. I have a bestie, someone who I will always love. Next year we have many special birthdays, including my husband’s sixtieth.
We will celebrate it in style (perhaps with many jokey gifts.
Happy Birthday Diana! Have a good one!
