My post today is for https://lindaghill.com/2022/12/21/one-liner-wednesday-today/
Christmas, be grateful, kind, and understand, what might be a great time for some, may not be for others.
I am looking forward to Christmas, spending it with my family – watching my grandchildren open their presents, enjoy a tasty meal prepared by my daughter’s partner, eat chocolates, biscuits, have a tipple or three.
There are some, who do not look forward to the festive season. Whether it be because they have no home, or because their home life will be made worse because everyone is there at the same time. Being at work, or school brings a respite.
In my home town, we had a shop open, where gifts were donated and given for free to those, who couldn’t afford presents. The Salvation Army open their doors for the homeless, so they can have a hot meal. A safe haven for those who struggle through this festive season. Trolleys in superstores are there to donate food.
I may not be able to give a lot, but giving something, help those who are less fortunate than us. I know I’m lucky, and I am grateful to have a family, who love me, and I love,
Yes. Me too Diana! I am very lucky. I try to give where I can at this time of year.
I am just wondering if you’d like to become a viewer of my private blog?

It’s true. It’s important to be grateful for having a family to spend the holidays with – and remember those who might not have a home or family or friends to enjoy it with.
