Once his dream of a life together with her faded as he realised that his love for her was unrequited, he knew he had to show how his real love. He wanted her to be happy, so it would be the kindest thing, to speak to her parents.

He was aware, as a Prince, it was the law for her to marry him.

Yet she loved another, would go to the grave with her only love. He could prevent this, their feud, over generations had to stop. He would make them think about their families future. Once married, their families would be united.

The fighting in the streets had to stop, it was affecting all the townspeople of Verona. He would find someone else, someone who would love him, like he loved her. She would be happy, and he would live his life knowing he helped save another life.
